During the period of training of the German
Juergen Klopp to the English team, the Reds
entered into several contracts with several world
For example, Mohamed Salah ignited the world
when he moved to Liverpool to play in the Premier
League, while Sadio Mane became one of the best
stars in the world since he wore the Reds shirt
Liverpool also signed with others such as Virgil
Van Dyck and Alison, who helped transform
Liverpool for the old hero of the continent today.
Of course, the likes of left-back Andrew Robertson,
who came from Hull City for just 8 million
pounds, who is now perhaps the best player in
the world in the defense, cannot be ignored.
But Klopp does not consider any of these contracts
with the players the greatest in Liverpool.
When asked about this, Klopp made it clear to
the Pure Football Podcast that the best player on
his team was not through a transfer deal but was
promoted from within the corridors of
Klopp revealed the player’s name by saying: “He is
Trent Alexander Arnold … We did not have to buy
him, but the assistant Peg Legends brought him and
told me that he plays in the youth team in the heart
of the defense, also plays as a right-back, or as
a right-wing, or left.”
The German coach added: “After he came to
the club there was only one problem: Trent was not
fit enough physically because he was young,
but we saw him in the future in football.”
He continued: “We had to work on the issue of
fitness with Arnold, but he went a long way on
his own, and it was good to see him now like this.”
And Arnold won the title of the best player in the
English Premier League last December.
The official Premier League account on Twitter
posted a video of the goals he made for his
teammates during December.
“The best player for December is the king of
assists, Trent Alexander Arnold,” he commented.
